At the Niveus Dental Aesthetics Center, we use an innovative method to whiten teeth, reducing tooth hypersensitivity and strengthening tooth enamel to achieve maximum effectiveness and safety. The process of whitening teeth takes a short time, but the effect is long-lasting.
Tooth discoloration can be due to various causes, including genetic and degenerative changes, certain antibiotics, aging, and frequent consumption of colored food, drinks, and dietary supplements. Also, incorrect medical treatment or endodontic treatment of teeth may lead to unwanted discoloration of the teeth.
The dental procedure of teeth whitening colors the teeth a lighter color by a few shades. At the Niveus Dental Aesthetics Center, we use Opalescence® Boost whitening gel containing 40 percent hydrogen peroxide at a neutral pH and 16 percent Opalescence® Boost gel for whitening of aligners at home and for maximum effectiveness and safety.
Consultations with the dentist occur before starting treatment as a personalized approach to each patient, during which an assessment is made as to whether whitening is the appropriate solution for the particular patient.
Opalescence® Boost gel contains potassium nitrate and fluorine, which are substances that are important because they reduce tooth hypersensitivity and strengthen tooth enamel. The gel is chemically activated just before the application on the teeth to avoid the use of lasers or ultraviolet lamps and thus not requiring heating of the teeth, which can otherwise later lead to increased tooth hypersensitivity.
The method of whitening teeth using Opalescence Boost gel leaves a long-lasting effect while the procedure itself takes a relatively short time. Feel free to contact us!
