Aesthetic fillings
Aesthetic (white) fillings rejuvenate and mimic the natural appearance of the tooth.
In addition to compensating for the loss of hard tooth tissue, white fillings can be used for aesthetic purposes to change the size, color and shape of the teeth.
They are particularly useful when closing the gap between the teeth, repairing chipped teeth, and providing a more orderly, straight set of teeth.

Placing white fillings
Placing white fillings does not always require anesthesia of the area being fixed. Anesthesia of the area is often needed if the tooth problem is beneath the enamel, i.e. dentin surrounding the dental nerve.
White fillings are micromechanically bonded to the teeth.
When the health problem is removed, the tooth is cleansed with mild acid that opens the enamel and dentin pores.
Then a hardening bonding agent is applied. By hardening, the binding agent prepares for bonding with the filling material.
After that, the filling is molded to fit the natural shape.
When the fillings harden, the dental bite is checked, followed by the final filling polishing.
To choose the best material for you and your teeth, consult with the dentist.
Aesthetics, price and durability of dental filling materials vary from situation to situation.
For recommendations for a particular filling material, the dentist takes into account the current state of your teeth, the amount of tissue you need to compensate, the place where the tooth lies and the forces acting on the tooth when chewing.
What are the benefits of white aesthetic fillings?
- They match the natural color and appearance of the tooth
- They are linked to the dental structure and do not require invasive methods – the insertion of slots, grooves and wedges into a healthy tooth structure
- They fully harden within a few seconds
- They can be used on all tooth surfaces without affecting the aesthetic
- They can be repaired if they are damaged
- The tooth sensitivity is momentary and short

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are a permanent prosthetic implant.
Veneers are placed on natural teeth.
Porcelain imitates the natural tooth enamel and reflects the light in the same way, which is why, after placing the veneers on the teeth, they look natural.
Porcelain veneers are most commonly used with minor aesthetic corrections such as the gap between the teeth or the change in the color and size of the tooth.
The advantage of veneers is that they require minimal invasiveness on and around the tooth, i.e. reduction of the teeth enamel – about 0.5 mm, which is considerably less than for other prosthetic replacements such as dental crowns.
Another great advantage is that they have a very smooth surface, which is why they do not change color throughout the years.
The result of the veneer treatment is a beautiful natural smile that can last for a decade with proper care.
During the consultation with our dentists, you will find out what kind of veneers is optimal for your teeth taking into account the desired result.
With proper maintenance, veneers can be a long-term solution for smaller aesthetic problems

Phillips Zoom / Teeth Whitening
Technologically advanced and noninvasive Philips Zoom lamps for your beautiful white and impeccable smile make a fantastic job.
Soon after the treatment the smile on your face will have a new glow.
The cause of discoloration of teeth can be found in genetic and degenerative changes, antibiotics, aging as well as frequent consumption of colored food and beverages, and dietary supplements.
Improper treatment of teeth can also lead to the unwanted discoloration, and endodontic treatment can lead to the change in the tooth itself.
The tooth enamel is responsible for the white glow of teeth, and as it wears down the darker color of the dentin comes through.
To change the color of the tooth, it is necessary to change the chemical structure of the pigment that is in the tooth tissue itself.
This is achieved by using active oxygen molecules that come into the tooth structure with hydrogen peroxide and bind to the pigment molecules, and the process itself is known as oxygenation.
The teeth whitening method with the Philips Zoom lamp gives a long-lasting effect while the procedure lasts relatively short.
